Emirates just don’t care. They done this multiple times in the past, so I’m surprised anybody is surprised.

skywardhunter can give examples of how the upgrade requirements have reduced.

I think these are J-F, but CPT-DXB is down from 65K to 52K. AKL-DXB down from 96K to 72K.
