The most disappointing service I've had in a long time to be honest. Achingly slow. Meal/drinks service started almost two hours after departure, and it took almost forty minutes after finishing the starter and the receiving the main course. On top of that, when it got to the second meal service, for some reason, despite sitting in the front of the mini cabin (6A) and being Gold, we were served dead last (80 minutes before landing) and they had actually run out of options for the main. Cabin crew started on the other side, worked their way up the mini cabin then back down. We were awake and active, so it wasn't like they were trying to let us sleep. It wasn't a status-heavy flight; the person next to us was one of few in the F lounge and he got served last alongside us. CC did get a meal from F for my husband as he had already ordered the other meal and after about 15 minutes they came back to say they'd run out. Happy they did that but pretty poor overall.

Date and couscous salad. Nice flavour, something a little different to the usual.

Pumpkin risotto, which I've had before. Slightly underseasoned but cooked well enough.

The only remaining choice for the second meal, nimono vegetables. Strangely it has already been on the menu under a different name. It's not a particularly pleasant taste though the last time I had it, it was far more pungent so they must have received feedback on that point.
