My companion still needs to travel, but I can't. Currently there's no availability for the booked flights and so I don't really want to cancel the whole thing down if I can avoid it.
If voucher is in your name, then the answer is no since you have to be travelling. I tired to do this once before and ended up cancelling the trip and had the voucher and Avios refunded minus the cancellation fee.
