It is still a modest lounge. Some seating still needs refreshing. We found the people to be nice and the food has definitely moved up from barely there to reasonable. I have not been in the Delta lounge across the concourse, but I think these were necessary steps to be acceptable relative to that.
I am at the little JAX lounge now and you are right they have definitely done some improvements but the last seating row does need a little TLC. I've been coming to this lounge since it opened and it has gone through ups and down but glad to see it is slowly going back to how it used to be. The SC is OK, a little better than this one and Food offerings slightly better. I wouldn't definitely compare it to the ones in bigger airports but it is small and cozy. I still prefer being at the lounges over being at the gate.
