In my world,
RA status benefits are not applicable at Kimpton AMS or Kimpton London...
So anyone who had elsewhere, is extremely lucky ....

This year will be a test if i retain InnerCircle,
I have only 1 paid booking at Kimpton London: non suite: twin room as i'm with no 2son
and 2 award rooms for his friends so they can all pub crawl for his birthday.

And cashing in my RA's free night à 70.000 points at IHG hotels using it at Kimpton AMS to go Christmas shopping.

I have a high probability that this year will be my last year of acquiring RA,
I've discovered the joys of cruising and have a couple booked next year (ireland, Japan, Panama, Egypt and Caribean)
that most of my IC nights are being surrendered to nights on the ship (will reach Holland America 5* and Celebrity Cruises Elite Plus)
Travelling without the kids changes the travel pattern from using a hotel as base to now being the parked tipsy potato on the Lido deck sailing from port to port....without need of a hotel.
