Hi all, does anyone have any recent attempts at a separate ticket connection? I'm considering STN-HEL on FR (Ryanair) which gives me a 2h15 connection with an already booked HEL-NGO flight.

The FR flight is some GBP 100 cheaper per pax than the AY equivalent LHR-HEL flight (whether cash or Avios award booking) this adds up for a family of 4 and as a family we could get Family Plus which includes 2x (!) checked bags per pax for a similar price to AY Economy Classic. But the relatively tight turnaround concerns me.. unfortunately FR has no earlier flight that day and we can't travel a day earlier.

What would the wise folk here advise? Thanks!
