I don't want to start a new thread just for Narita, but any recent afternoon (3-4pm-ish) experiences at the JAL terminal? I have APEC but the other half does not - and while they were able to clear with me in the past, we had a fairly nasty immigration inspector last fall at KIX literally yell to go to the regular line when I said they did not have APEC but were traveling with me, which added about 45 minutes to our arrival time.
