As an international arrival when you walk up the jetbridge from E15 you’ll be diverted thru a whole set of hallways to passport control/customs. If it was a domestic flight then you come out the jetbridge right in the middle of all the gates just like any other terminal, but since it’s international they’ll force you upstairs and down some halls to passport control.
Once you clear customs you’ll be spit back out into a large walkway airside between E and D. Should be a 5-10 min walk back to E14-16.
The good news is the storms this morning cooled us off and it will take several hours for the atmosphere to heat back up and be ready for another round of storms. The heavy storms forecast for late afternoon have been pushed back to “tonight/tomorrow morning”
I’d say your chances are better than 50-50 but by no means a sure thing.

Thanks to you both! Thinking row 30 is going to kill a lot of my time so anticipating an overnight. But will hustle if it looks like I can make it! Helpful info re passport control and where it dumps us out.
