In many ways, I enjoyed this property more than the Park Hyatt Saigon where I went afterwards. I cannot return to this resort soon enough. It's a great property and and even greater value.

I was also given room F118, so let's hope that's the typical Globalist room because it was beautiful. For what it's worth, I did not use a suite upgrade, they just moved me to that room on their own. In addition to what was reported in the above review, I'd like to add the following:
  • I arrived at the property around 11:00 AM. I had already been upgraded to F118, but it wasn't ready yet, so they let me use a standard room to relax/shower while I waited on my upgraded room to be cleaned.
  • Grabs come up to the front door now, so no need to walk down to the street to wait for them.
  • They seem to hand out umbrellas like candy, so if you are leaving and you think it might rain, take one. You'll be glad you have it.
  • There is a lot of new development going on in Da Nang. I think right now might be the best time to visit because it seems like Vietnam has plans to turn Da Nang in to Cancun. Right now everything is cheap, easy, and they actually seem happy to have you here. Let's hope that doesn't change.
We have similar plans next march, 3 nights here, 4 nights @ Park Hyatt. Are there enough things nearby to stay an extra night and do less in Saigon in your opinion?

Also, we have an SUA and i was debating between Park Hyatt and here, and it looks like the standard suite at Danang doesn't have an ocean view. What would you do?
