Having been through countless hurricanes, I'm quite familiar with this. You can expect to not pay for any meter/service charges for the duration of the power outage. Depending on where you're located, this can be anywhere from $0.40-$1.50/day.

I went 105 days without utility power at my home after Hurricane Ian. Not a typo. 105 Days. The hurricane hit on September 28th, 2022, and seeing how bad the damage to the area was, the power company cancelled and closed all accounts in the area. The power company was gracious enough to waive any charges for the the billing month in September. They also waived all of the fees when new meters were installed and new accounts were created. This seemed quite fair and them waiving the September bills was a nice gesture.
