I don't know if the grass is that much greener on the EXP side of the fence. I see a lot of other EXP's posting that they're batting 1.000 (or very close to)on their U/G's, but after the "free" system went into effect last year, I've watched my U/G frequency drop to around 50%. I think a combination of lower YUP/F fares and schedule cutbacks on my most frequented routes have a lot to do with it.

I'm still going to go for EXP this year, but I'm also hedging things a bit, I guess, going for 1K as well. If AA's E- is on the way soon, I'd like to have some options should those coveted exit row seats start becoming harder to get as well as those more elusive "complementary" upgrades.
