Even with such prices it would be hardly woth 600 $. But sometimes prices are funny. In many cases, half-board even corresponds to the most expensive possible menu. Then it's a swap at best. Recently, a fixed-price menu was more expensive than the individual items. Is this a test to see who falls for it? Or are they hoping for a guest who doesn't do the math? The only explanation worth acknowledging would be that there are extras like snacks in between. But I doubt that.
At least for me, the full board rate was about $400 over the standard rate, and at five nights, one night was complimentary. For two people. Dinner alone would have been $400 each night approximately, ordering the standard menu, nothing with additional charges. So anything after that was a bonus. Again, this was for both of us. I agree if this is somehow per person, then it’s not worth it but when I did the math, it worked out. More so if you can stay that fifth night. If not, it may not make sense.
