And arguably they already do to some extent following the recent improvements to the B lounge...
I don't think splitting out the T5A lounges is a great idea. Especially on short haul it's often convenient to pop into a lounge near the gate where you're going. I think it's probably true that North has more capacity problems than South already and my instinct (which may be totally wrong) is that making it the short haul lounge could well make that worse.
