I once had a connecton MAD-CDG-LHR which, if I recall correctly, involved the MAD-CDG flight arrived at Terminal 2F (Schengen), transferring via Border Control/Security to Terminal 2E (Non-Schengen) for the CDG-LHR flight, then being driven back to terminal 2F, parking alongside the stand and using the staircase up to the jet bridge in order to join the aircraft.
