aussielori,

I stayed at Park Hyatt Vendome in May and IC Le Grand Paris (Opera) around New Year and Hilton ADT a few days later.

Park Hyatt Vendome is a very modern, sleek, stylish with superb service but a little remote which is more typical of Paris. If you are Diamond, they give you breakfast coupons for a very nice breakkie I was also able to upgrade to a brunch by paying difference (20Euro) and it has breakfast buffet plus glass of Champagne and a full main course ^ Nice Diamond amenity with half bottle of wine and pastries. Free internet in room and the Opera location is excellent. I used to be a left bank girl when I lived in Paris but have grown to love the Opera area. On FFN, it is an excellent deal.

IC Le Grand is edging to be my favourite but I might be biased from both an excellent lounge, superb lounge staff and a jr. suite overlooking the Opera. I got this on a 2 for 1 special..

Hilton ADT is fairly nice but the pseudo art deco and use of color are not my favourite. Diamond amenity is a half bottle of wine and some chocolates and they leave 2 maison de chocolat chocolate during turn down. The lounge is fairly nice with good breakfast, Nicholas Feuilette champagne, wines, etc. The lounge staff are nice but the wait staff/kitchen staff in the lounge was a bit mixed. The level of service is not as gracious and smooth as it could be but this is a fairly new property. I am not a big fan of Champ Elysee or Arc de Triumph but that is personal taste. If you get this on award and would take full advantage of the lounge facilities with food and drinks it may be a better value for you then the PH Vendome, especially considering how much Aussies drinks
