I assume this is because of all the cancelled DFW flights, but omg. Is this typical? Would it really take that long? And if you actually are trying to contact them, urgently (say for an intl flight that can't be rebooked online?) is there a better way to do it besides at the airport?
Recently, another FTer encountered a similar lengthy hold/callback time from AA in the U.S., so he called AA Reservations in Spain and got right through.
