Passed by last night and checked out the demo seats which don't recline and the foot/calf rest were a little iffy to function. I feel its mostly cosmetic to catch up with the times. Some nice details such as USB-C charging and armrest storage lighting. But my biggest reason for choosing PEY over Y was the extra space, legroom and more padding on the PEY seats since the PEY (especially on the 777s are still part of the older generation of seats vs the newer generation cost cutting 3-4-3 Y seats). Unfortunately the padding is a lot harder and seat width clearly narrower. The old PEY felt a little like sitting in a recliner/sofa, this one felt more like a garden seat recliner? Maybe the seats will get softer over time?
