Remember back in the days there were video inputs for certain IFE system that you can connect your own device to it? The screen resolution back in those day made them pretty much pointless. (I think the idea was that you can bring your own VCD/DVD player and play your own movies)
Now with these new 4k screens, it may actually be pretty useful as second monitors for laptops for productivities , haha.
