Good luck with all this. I wish I had advice to share. How refreshing that this isn't the usual "how do I convey benefits (against to rules) to (some third party)". It almost sounds like you are trying to save your wife's company some money. I hope the hotel kindly keeps your Diamond benefits under the revised reservation.
