Thank you. I never go anywhere without about 30kg of luggage. I even take a proper suitcase when I go to my friend's for the weekend. Men generally like it when their ladies look pretty and wear nice clothes, but don't seem to get the idea that this doesn't happen by magic and we need some creams and some make-up, especially when we are the wrong side of 40 (even though we still look 32). And I would never go out without shoes that match my bag, and for a trip from the UK to somewhere hot I'm going to need daytime shoes for the UK, daytime shoes for the hot place, evening shoes, beach shoes, and maybe some different colours involved, so I'm talking maybe 6 pairs of shoes minimum, a couple of handbags. My OH always carries my suitcase and I carry his (which is usually about 18Kg for a week).
