Friendly Toast is not what it once was. Don't get me wrong, food is still good as are prices, and I can't speak to the original location as I haven't been there in a decade. But it has expanded into the suburbs and at least in my experiences, has been scrubbed of all it once was. I loved the "punk rock" vibe it once had, now all it is missing is "flair" and it could be TGIF.
