Hi I had a partner award booked with AS miles but due to unforeseen events (death in the family) I had to take a different flight and I'm not sure if it was because of the chaotic situation at the time or all the stress but I forgot to cancel my flight. So basically I was a no show for my flight. Just remembered about the whole incident now and I was wondering if i can even recoup any of my miles or am I truly out of luck? It was 80k AS miles. Also what was weird was that I cant find the confirmation email for my flight. It looks like AS never sent me an email confirmation. I remembered it showing in the app but now that the flight is done its been removed from the app, so I went to look for it in my email but nothing.
