Hello. I am not really familiar with EC261 and am wondering if I have a claim. I booked a flight on Austrian Airlines (booked on Austrian Airlines website) from Sarajevo to Vienna. The 6:10am flight was delayed three hours and Austrian Airlines customer support was not open so I called United for assistance, as my connecting flight from Vienna to Chicago was booked through the United Airlines website. Due to the delay (ended up landing just under three hours late) I would have missed my connection to Chicago so United routed me from Vienna to London to Chicago, but I couldn't get back to the states until the following day and had to spend the night in Vienna, and pay United Airlines $750 to confirm seats. Am I do compensation in this scenario?
