Some quick notes on my experience using AF meet & greet last weekend:

- Lead flight attendant made contact during flight to introduce herself and confirm that we had meet & greet service booked for our transfer at CDG.
- Same lead flight attendant handed us off to AF representative waiting for us just outside acft doors in the jet bridge
- AF agent led us through security and passport control:
  • Arrived at security and the lineup was not huge but still a solid 25 min wait. Agent immediately took us to the front of the line; and
  • Same thing for passport control, albeit little to no lineup to bypass.
- Agent then walked us to Terminal 2F lounge where we planned on waiting for connecting flight and advised us that she would be handing us off to her colleague in as she had to go back to Terminal 2E.
- As we made ourselves comfortable in the lounge (1st time and must admit it is quite a nice lounge), the new AF agent came to greet us and asked us when we wanted to board (we decided to board a little later).
- Our gate was a very short walk from lounge (Gate F35), and when we arrived the lineup to board was in full effect. Once again, agent walked us straight to the front of the line (many death stares from those waiting in the queue) and walked us down the jet bridge and handed us off to FAs.

Overall, a very solid experience for my wife and I as we were travelling with an infant. While we did have 4 hour layover, it was nice not to think at all about following signage to do transfer between terminals after a red eye TATL with baby in tow (none of us slept much and coffee wasn't doing the trick). The bypassing of the lineups was also nice as it made the task of carrying our "heavier" infant less demanding. I would definitely recommend the service for those with tight connections. For longer layovers, some may not find it worth it unless you find value in spending the money for the VIP treatment.

As an aside, the FAs on both flights were tremendously warm and accommodating to us as we were travelling with an infant. AF service really shined bright that day and I would not hesitate to devote more of my business to AF in the future where possible (i.e. mostly *A user).
