Kenya Airways (B788)

Leaving out the OZ 772 (staggered J seat) review, as most they are quire well known - at least from a redemption space's perspective (pre pandemic).

KQ887 is a through flight, CAN-BKK-NBO. I joined at the second segment from BKK. It's 2-2-2 in Business. Originally, I was seated in 1A with the next seat unoccupied. Apparently, most pax originated in CAN. When I boarded, a lady was already sleeping in 1C (my seat mate to be). Thinking of a strategy, I approached the purser and asked about the manifest. After the door was closed, she informed me of two middle seats unoccupied, so I gladly moved over to Row 5 (5D/F ?). I slept thru the flight to NBO.

Funny enough, since I didn't have much ScumTeam experience - actively avoided some - this was likely my first time on 2-2-2 (forgot the product's technical name). It's otherwise well known and seen on LA/MU/GA, etc. My expectation was low, but ended up quite liking it. For one, the footwell space was unmatched. Also, the seat mate thing is not too inconvenient with the decent legroom to cross over, if needed.

Photos below were taken from NBO-CPT during a daytime 5h "transcon". Also, the avgeek in me liked that the only 788 with a special liveey "Come Live the Magic!" took us all the way from (CAN-)BKK to CPT.
