This particular leg works a bit differently than your run-of-the-mill codeshare: QR purchases a certain allotment of seats on every one of these flights and sells them directly to customers. QR thus also chooses to award its frequent flyers without a separate financial transaction. Either way, none of this should matter — tickets should earn according to the published chart, and QR should be able to tell me when I’ll earn and what. I don’t think AY would want to weigh in on this, as it’s none of their business, really.
