Legroom on the four legacy US carriers (plus WN and B6) is great compared to Air Canada rouge, which I'm often stuck with as the only viable option on flights out of my home airport. I'm 6'2"; the pitch on the US carriers and mainline/Express Air Canada/WestJet isn't exactly comfortable but it's fine. Air Canada rouge A320s at 29" are a different level of uncomfortable; I actually vomited for the first time ever on a >19 seat plane on approach to YYZ when stuck in a middle seat on rouge, and I at least partly blame the discomfort and ability to contort myself to see out a window. I can't actually find the AS seat pitch on alaskaair.com, but I don't think they get below 31".
