This is one of the dumbest posts I've seen on Flyer Talk.. ever. Airlines have been providing food in some form or fashion for decades and decades. There's an entire thread about food here that you just posted to, so clearly you were drawn to it also. Airlines may as well try to provide food options that are appealing to people. If that makes Alaska an "airline trying to pretend it's a restaurant" then so be it I guess.
In one thread, the query is whether AS is low cost, no frills. In another, the accusation of it pretending to be a restaurant.
