When QR switched some routes to other OW airlines (itinerary was originally marketed and operated by QR), I only received Qpoints / Avios according to the operating airline but managed to claim the difference after contacting customer support.
Unfortunately, this is not QR's customer service is telling me. They originally acknowledged that earnings indeed go according to the marketing carrier rather than the operating carrier. However, they then removed the original earnings only to add the same back to my account. When speaking to customer service again, they told me that they were informed by the department supervisor that earnings actually go according to operating carrier! But that doens't make sense to me as what I earned still doesn't match the chart. HUCA isn't helping either...
