Following up here since I recently checked my IHG account - both transfers finally posted on 5/15, which is pretty late since we had already booked the hotel using transferred chase points, and now we don't need the transferred points on P2's account.
I messaged them to see what was going on via their iMessage services. They told me it took over 2 weeks because they wanted to verify different last names between myself and P2. They ended up verifying through Chase. Funny that they didn't tell me until that point even though I had been on the phone with them for a long time, with many line transfers during the week that I attempted the transfer. I pushed them to initiate a transfer back to my account for free, which they couldn't do.
Now I will need to wait out the 30 days after we signed up P2 as a business account to attempt the transfer back to my account.
Very frustrating, wouldn't want to deal with this ever again
Thanks for the Followup! I am in the same situation, Initiated xfer on 5/22 from P2 (business rewards member) to P1 (Diamond member), got the confirmation number but no points in P1 IHG account yet. Who did you message them thru iMessage? IHG team or points.com? would you mind providing some contact info? Thx
