Pre-ordering doesn't seem to be available for flights booked using partner airlines. Is it possible to pre-order by emailing

online pre-ordering scheme is coming into effect in June (sorry if it was mentioned elsewhere before). Eligibility is "Customers who have reservations on operated by JAL flights with JAL flight number and can confirm their reservation online"; presumably some items will still be restricted by fare/status.
