Seems most poeple find the JW Marriott to be the best hotel. Am assuming the Grand Hyatt Jeju is #2? (
Aventine mentioned in another reply Shilla JJ and Lotte JJ are aging)

Grand Hyatt Corner Premium Suite (130 sq meters) on the nights I want to stay is 60% of the cost of just a regular premium room (43 square meters) at the JW Marriott.
Kind of seems like an insane price difference unless the Grand Hyatt is really bad? Or perhaps just that the JW Marriott prices are way too high (I could just go to the Four Seasons in Hawaii instead for the same price).
Currently debating where to spend 3 nights outside of Seoul.
Candidates are some mix of:
Park Hyatt Busan (currently booked into the Park Premium Marina Suite - 77 square meters)
JW Marriott Jeju
Grand Hyatt Jeju (looking at Corner Premium Suite - 130 square meters - same price as the Busan PH suite)
Paradise City Incheon
Would appreciate anyone's insights on relative merits.
Thank you.
This is a huge city casino hotel vs. JW Marriott is a proper oceanside resort. Marriott charges a lot because it's a new property and the owners invested a lot into it. Hardware and build quality are a level higher than GH.
Paradise City Incheon is also a huge, huge impersonal casino airport hotel. It has some nice Cemer bathing facilities but really just convenient for staying before going home.
You should probably figure out what kind of stay you want outside of Seoul.
