Ha I wish now looking back I had taken pictures or even videos. Doubtful it would change anything, but at least as keepsakes.

I am honestly still in disbelief. Just a few days ago I was on the Lyria to Geneva and had forgotten to silence my phone. It rang and I got dirty looks from several people and and a warning from the service manager lady within 30 seconds of the offensive ring.

Au contraire, the crew definitely enabled this circus. Even if by not doing anything.

The check-in situation I can still comprehend, because it's usually locally-employed staff or maybe even contractors, who are "doing something" for friends / family / celebrity etc. But even on board? To more or less be party to the situation? Never in my life.
