Such a boondoggle. We were in/out of BKK four times the past 10 days and while the main hall and shopping areas were busy, the concourses were like mausoleums every time, with empty gates outnumbering gated aircraft by at least 2:1.
The only real justification for adding gates is to further line pockets of those who profit from airport construction projects.
