Any recent stays here? Are the rooms and general state of the hotel well kept? I've booked 4 nights in September but hesitating with the CY Seminyak as well (I've already stayed there when they just opened and loved it but it's quite a rate jump). I wanted to stay under the $100 mark as I won't be doing much in the room or at the hotel. Will be out scuba diving all day.
I've been meaning to post but I had a 20 night BRG for under 45 CAD last month but I rarely stayed there as I had a villa. The suites are okay. If with a family they have new themed suites which are cute but the other rooms aren't in need of repair but are nothing like CY Seminyak. Those rooms were renovated during the pandemic. Staff is awesome and will let you order breakfast to your room for nothing which is nice as sometimes it does fill up. I would stick with CY. But again you won't have a bad stay especially if just for a quick bite and a comfy sleep. AC blasts if that's what you like. Lots of different food offerings and they do give 20% discount for plats and up on food. Rooftop pool/bar is nice and they even have a floor up which no one seems to know about so the day beds are always empty. But no free laundry lile at CY. CAA/AAA rate should keep you at 75ish USD/night.
