Going T5>T3 there is no reason at all to mess with the BA arrivals lounge or immigration and landside train transfer etc.

As noted just have her take the usual airside transit bus from T5>T3, reclear security, then spend the time in the nice T3 lounges. For a shower I'd start with the CX lounge.
