With Vasu now out, I wonder if AA is really going to go ahead with this.
Gutting their corporate sales team and pushing everyone to book direct were big Vasu initiatives… and AA has already acknowledged they’ve missed out on some of the managed travel rebound that has been benefiting DL and UA.
I expect a number of vasu reversals. Analysts are AA’s master. And many are CK and business travelers. And they are not happy.
