I was on ORD-DEN on the 5am flight a couple days ago. Of course too early for the Club or for really anything in the vicinity of the departure gate to be open... we didn't even get the snack basket on the flight. Person next to me asked for a snack box (they said they thought this flight had breakfast, I said not anymore) and they were told how much it would cost. Plus the flight attendant (wearing a couple of pins on his uniform that have stirred up controversy these days on other airlines... hadn't ever seen that on UA) took the opportunity for anybody nodding off or going to the restroom to snap up their drinks even if not finished. That's fine, he just had to bring me 3 different coffee mugs. Had more/better service on my 35 minute long connecting flight on a Skywest CRJ to Scottsbluff.
