In my case its a 2 year old bad this month. What was interesting was as we flew out of AUH the supervisor seemed to be aware of the case and seems to be the one who was emailing me. He explained the offer was higher then what QR normally offer as I had the reciept. He suggested once I emailed to confirm, he would issue me a payment link to remit my details. I am tempted to just accept and count it as a loss.
