I am still waiting to hear back from Qatar for a cracked Rimowa Aluminimum case. They proposed a Samsonite bag replacement worth $496 USD or cash equivalent.
Signed all the release forms 2 months ago and still have not heard anything. Been chasing them up. Crap service if anything goes wrong
I have Rimowa suitases with lifetime warranty just because of this. Each time I've had issues I roll up to a Rimowa shop and don't have to deal with any airline, never been anything they haven't attempted to fix.
