Upcoming flight on LX F YUL-ZRH, connecting to either LX or AF onwards to CDG (separate ticket, haven't decided which to book yet). Either 5hr or 7hr layover depending on which I book. 3 EU citizens and a US citizen.

I take it normal procedure would entail Swiss F arrival service taking us to FCL A, but I'm inclined to stay in E to use the FCL there for a shot at a nap room and hopefully less crowding. If we do this, there is no limousine to transfer FCL E to FCL A, correct? What is involved in terms of security and immigration checks if we go from FCL E to the A gates on our own? How much time should we allot before the connecting flight departure if leaving from FCL E?
