Thing was it was about a flight the night before I flew the route (and first time to AMS in a decade). Also I may well have held the flight that got cancelled. This feels like just a bit more than a coincidence. Has there been more info on potential data breach?
does it need to be a data breach? What does tripit’s privacy policy say about their handling of your data? I skimmed through it and section 5B seems to give them carte blanche: to transfer your data to “third party service providers, e.g. for […] the fulfillment and provisioning of offers from tripit or other communications”. Hard to see how they can be profitable if they’re not monetizing your data.
