You might want to have a look at LM's Points/Cash rates as there's some substantial value to be had IMO. Interestingly, they're offering Pointsaver rates on Club Lounge access rooms, an extremely attractive offer for non Plat+ members. Those of us who'd get lounge access through our status are better off with a straight points redemption (15k for a base room in the example below).
So I'm getting VND 1,080,000 [US$42.36] cash + 12k points (let's just say $112.50, the price you'd pay to buy them from Marriott with no bonus, although there is a bonus on at the moment; another topic) = US$154.86.

LM continues to offer good to great value on points. Sheraton, on the other hand, is never a good value redemption.
