My flybe flight from SOU to EDI last Friday night went tech when we were on the runway ready for take-off. On arrival back at the terminal I decided to book myself on the first BA flight on Saturday morning in the event that the problem was unfixable. The fare was an outrageous £220. The problem with the engine could not be rectified so flybe arranged taxi's and/or overnight accomodation. I was glad I had made the booking on BA as it was obvious flybe could not rebook everyone to the following mornings flight.
