I've flown a lot on AS, both paid and award tickets, and have always booked things myself online - never booked via their call center. If I call and have an agent book all this stuff, can two paid companion tickets and two award tickets be on the same "reservation"? I'd have to pay the $15 "call center service charge" but if that gets two extra bags covered for free since I'm on the same reservation (it would be $35 each for their first bags otherwise), that's a net savings of $55...
Or I could make one of the kids an authorized user! Hmmm....
I don’t think you can add any additional travelers to your companion pass reservation. And I don’t think you can mix revenue and award tickets on one reservation either.
If everyone really needs their own checked bag (perhaps four checked bags plus carry-now for six travelers could be enough?), making one of the travelers on the #3 reservation an authorized user seems to be the best option if you are willing to go that route.
