I have searched the forum and have not found an answer. I have 2 AA trip credits expiring June 2, 2024 for $180. For now, no plans to travel. But in order to extend the expiration can I book a new flight for $185 - Main Plus and then cancel in hopes that I would get a new travel credit expiration date? Would that extend the trip credit expiration date? Thanks so much.
