I had a thought about seat selection - wondering if anyone can shed any light. I am travelling on my own with three children under 6. On the outward - I was automatically assigned seats 72 hours before. On the return - it is a code share and I cannot select seats on BA.com. On Qatar.com I can select seats. Here is the query: it’s a pretty open flight. If I purchase 1 seat selection for 1 adult (a good seat is approx £100) will the system assign my children next to me (for free?).
