Just spoken to the hotel direct again 5 minutes ago: I'll post their email response to my questions for clarification as soon as I get it ; for the time being maybe this helps or even confuses. They confirm the hotel has a soft opening on the 17th June with some facilities opening over a period of 7 days ie: pool and restaurant, apparently bar snacks will be available(whoopee). My room booking will be honoured from the 18th to the 25th June. I think I might move my booking to later in the year as I'm not confident things will go to plan which can happen with new builds. Once again the reservations person (Maro) we spoke to was very helpful and apologetic over any confusion.
