Hi. I went through egates very easily this week at KL exactly the same as seavisionburma (thank you for your two very helpful posts). I'm a UK passport holder. I didn't see anywhere to preregister before using the egates and my name flashed up so I knew it had registered me. However a friend has joined me today and didn't use the egates and has got a manual entry stamp in her passport. I am now wondering whether I needed to get my passport stamped also or do the egates act as a digital stamp so you don't need an actual stamp. Also wondered if I am now restricted to only leaving where there are egates? Any recent experience would be much appreciated.
