I think any experienced traveller claiming to want to travel F to enjoy the best food the airline can offer and picking an eastbound short overnight must be either masochistic or hallucinating. Even airlines with much better F standards than ba like AF or LX are frankly underwhelming on such a segment. Airlines know most people will just want to sleep and skip dinner and focus accordingly. Airlines also routinely offer their best food from their hub rather than from outstations for obvious reasons.
